Caribbean Club

Where the famous movie Key Largo was filmed

Opened in 1938 and run by the Whitehurst family since 1963, the Caribbean Club is the oldest bar in the Upper Keys and one of the last relics of Old Key Largo. Full of character and characters, the Caribbean Club is a watering hole for locals and tourists alike.

With the Florida Bay as our backyard, our sunset views can’t be beat. We’re proud to be repeat winners of “Best Sunset” in the Keys Weekly’s “Best of the Upper Keys Awards” three years in a row.

Join us for live music EVERY DAY including our popular Karaoke Night on Wednesdays. We are honored to host the absolute best of Florida Keys musicians as well as renowned touring artists. Music is on our waterfront stage, but if the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll move the party inside.

Stop in and sip our famous Key Lime Pie Rum Punch under the palm trees or try a locally crafted beer while chatting it up with one of our favorite locals. Trust us, they have stories to tell!

Hungry?! We’re excited to host a food truck on property every day of the week. The B&G Spot pops up every Monday from 11am to 9pm. Then, Take Two Kitchen’s Food Truck, our permanent truck, is open Tuesday through Sunday!

BAR HOURS: 7AM TO 1AM-ISH Daily

We are a CASH ONLY bar, but we do have an ATM onsite.

Benefit for Charmaine Noe - Sunday 2 to 7pm

oin us on Saturday, April 19th from 2pm to 7pm to help raise money for long time local and Key Largo School employee, Charmaine Noe.

There will be live music, raffles, a lotto basket, a silent auction and MORE! There’s also a yeti cooler filled with booze for raffle! (You can pre-buy these tickets at the Catch restaurant.)

On February 4, 2025, Charmaine was hospitalized due to septic pneumonia, which led to severe complications, including a collapsed lung. She flatlined, but was thankfully resuscitated. She then suffered three strokes caused by multiple blood clots.

Charmaine has been battling through these extreme health challenges, with 75% brain damage on the left side, 75% eyesight loss, and not being able to walk. As a result, she is currently being transferred to an Encompass Therapy Living Facility to regain her strength, cognitive abilities, and mobility.

As many of you may know, she has dedicated over twenty years to serving the children of Key Largo School, showing immense selflessness and care for those around her. Prior to working at the school district, she ran Buccaneer Island kitchen at Ocean Reef for twenty years.

At this moment, Charmaine’s family is reaching out to our community for support. If you or your business would like to donate an item to the fundraiser please contact Stephanie at +1 (305) 394-3326

If you can’t make the event, but would like to donate, please check out her GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/6492c093

One of the truly beautiful things about living in Key Largo is our giving community. We hope to see you on the 19th for a day of fun for a beautiful person
